A resident of Provo, Utah, J. Anthony Antonelli spends most of his time overseeing Havenpark Communities, a manufactured housing community company he co-founded. Outside of managing this venture, J. Anthony Antonelli has contributed to his community by serving as a board member of the Food & Care Coalition of Utah.
In line with its mission to aid people facing financial difficulties, Food & Care has launched a new project to construct homes that would address the homeless problem. This project seeks to mitigate one of the central components of eradicating poverty by providing homes and security to people who have a need.
This project involves constructing 72 one-bedroom homes that come with the requisite support services. The homes are designed around the pocket neighborhood plan and will include security.
At this point, the organization has been able to raise some money toward the project. However, $1.3 million is needed for its completion. Those interested in supporting this project can learn more at the group’s website, http://foodandcare.org.
